The good new is, It has taken us out of the drought we have been in for too long. Instead of preparing for wildfires we are now paying more attention to the creek and rivers. It is amazing how quickly a lot of damage can be done and how expensive that damage can be. I was down the hill and came home to water coming over my driveway because of all the debris blocking my culvert. After clearing the debris the water started to flow through the culvert once again. Thousands of dollars later we are finally getting our driveway put back together. We were one of the lucky ones. Some of my neighbors lost their driveways, bridges, culverts, and had water enter their home (check out my Facebook page for pictures).

If you are away and hire me, I will let you know when hazardous events happen near your home and I will check on your home. If any damage is done, I will meet with your insurance company and be here to help you with whatever repairs you need.

I hope you're having a wonderful summer wherever you are! :)]]>
<![CDATA[Lots of sunshine the last 2 weeks.]]>Sun, 23 Feb 2014 15:39:45 GMThttp://www.evergreenhomeconcierge.com/blog/lots-of-sunshine-the-last-2-weeksWe have had some serious melting of all that snow we got at the beginning of February. It's been a nice reprieve and reminds us that spring will be here before we know it. We are finally above average for precipitation for the year, hopefully we are climbing out of the draught we have been in. March tends to be our snowiest month so we should expect more significant snow, hopefully. :)

Evergreen Fire and Rescue is having a meeting February 26th at Evergreen High School. I looked at the site and it has some very good information such as high risk neighborhoods, evacuation routes etc. I wanted to share this link with you. https://www.evergreenfirerescue.com]]>
<![CDATA[Snow snow and more snow!]]>Mon, 03 Feb 2014 23:43:35 GMThttp://www.evergreenhomeconcierge.com/blog/snow-snow-and-more-snowWe have gotten quite a bit of snow in the last few days and we are getting more. We need this snow to keep us out of fire danger this summer so it is welcomed. However, we are expecting some really cold temperatures this week. Mostly teens during the day and single digits at night. This puts us at a risk for freezing pipes. That is why you need me. I'll check on your homes as scheduled but if you would like an extra check during this time, please call or email me and I would be happy to check. The longer a leak goes unattended the more damage it can cause. As always I will stay aware of power outages in our area as that puts us at increased risk. This is winter :)]]>
